Hosting a workshop is easy and the host gets to take the class for FREE!
If you are within the Comox Valley area (within 25 km of Comox Airport YQQ) then all you need is a minimum of 4 paying participants for the host to be at no charge. We can make a special link for your participants to purchase tickets directly, or you as host may take care of payment. Should there be less than 4 participants for the workshop, minimum payment for 4 tickets is still required, but each participant will be making more soap, or soap and bath bombs.
Tickets for at home workshops are non-refundable, but should a participant have to cancel, that person may take the workshop for free at our Comox location at a future date. If the host has to cancel the workshop, we can move it to a different date without any additional charge.
The work space required for each person is about 3 ft. table or counter space (standing). We can bring a 6 ft folding table on request.
We need a microwave in close proximity to the work space as well. If there is no microwave near the projected workspace we can bring one on request.
Please note that during the soap making part of the workshop no children or pets should be allowed in the direct soaping area. Total duration of the workshop is 1 1/2 - 2 hrs after which the soap needs to set for about 1/2 hour before it should be transported. Setup time is about 1/2 hr.
